Specialty Car Parts Canada grew out of our need for parts used in the creation of our personal hot rods and kit cars. How often have you gone to your local parts supply store and told them you need an item for your project only to have them tell you “we need a year, make and model in order to locate the correct part”.

So you patiently explain that your Hot Rod or Kit car does not fit the stereo typical Yr/Make/Model mold and they just as patiently tell you that without that information they cannot help you. After repeatedly experiencing this frustration we turned to the internet where we quickly fell into a bewildering maze of web sites offering all manner of parts and pieces for the hot rod or kit car then under construction.

In the face of this bewildering array one is faced with the reality that unlike your local parts store or speed shop where you can hold the part in question and gauge is suitability, the internet does not offer this service, so you are left with making your best guess and ordering the part in the hope that it works for your intended purpose.

So it was that with this as background, we decided to put this site together to bring into one place a collection of parts, pieces and resources that we have used and found to be effective in our endless pursuit of hot rod and kit car perfection.

On the pages following you will find numerous ideas for every system on your vehicle. Every one of these has been tested by us in at least one of your projects and as such we know it to be as advertised. We hope you find the site helpful and appreciate any input you may have for ideas, content, or sources that you know from first hand experience are helpful.
